Amanita teaches us that symbiosis with nature creates the best foundation for the health of ourselves and our planet. Though many see Amanita’s inability to be farmed as a downside, I see it as a path towards creating truly healthy and diverse forests for the benefit of ALL.

How Do We Help?

  • Protect What We Have

    Only 4% of America’s original, old growth forest remain and most of the remaining trees are planted in single species tree farms. Without a mixture of old, new and genetically distinct species of trees, there is little opportunity for fungi, mammals and medicinal plants to thrive. That’s why we donate 1% to help protect our remaining old growth forests.

  • Create for the Future

    1% of profits go directly towards the establishment of forageable forests. Ownership free spaces where people can ethically source food, medicinals and lumber through hand selection. This increases the quality of the foraged products and reduces the need to continuously clearcut land for the growing of mono-crops.

  • Encourage Consuming Wild Foraged Products

    The more we collectively use the vote of our dollars to buy wild caught/hunted/foraged food and medicinals and personally experience elevated health through these products, the more we will encourage the establishment of truly healthy and diverse forests.

We Tread Lightly On the Forest Floor

We are aware that we have an impact on the planet by harvesting, processing, packaging and shipping a product across the continent.

To reduce our imprint, we:

  • Use fully recyclable packaging
  • Use aluminum to reduce weight and lower CO2 emissions
  • Avoid the use of plastic
  • Buy local ingredients
  • Only forage mushrooms that are mature and have released their spores
